On Sunday Management and staff from Trader Dealer Online climbed 89 stories (1,958 stairs and 300 metres of vertical elevation) to become the highest raising fundraisers in the Eureka Climb 2009 www.eurekaclimb.com.au

Trader Dealer Online raised $4,008 with CEO Damian Isbister, Manager Tom Boland, Operations Manager Mark Skec and Phone Broking Manager Janet McCaughey completing the climb.

The Eureka Climb 09 is a charity event for people of all ages and levels of fitness to walk, run/climb their way to the top of the world’s tallest residential tower and raise money for disadvantaged young people at home and abroad for their charity partners: Whitelion and Interplast.

Trader Dealer Online is a wholly owned subsidiary of the MDS Financial Group. The Merkin Group has a substantial shareholding in the MDS Financial Group.

MDS Financial Services Ltd has announced the issue of $1,320,000 of new capital raised for MDS by Merkin Group Company BoxRED Pty Ltd as Lead Manager by way of 66,000,000 new shares to be listed on the ASX.

The new issue announcement, and application for the quotation of 66,000,000 additional securities (being 66,000,000 shares and 66,000,000 attaching options which are unlisted) and Agreement with the Australia Securities Exchange pursuant to Listing Rules 2.7, 3.10.3, 3.10.4 and 3.10.5 was lodged with the Australian Securities Exchange today.

Merkin Group Chairman Sean Rothsey unanimously reelected as a director and Chairman of the Board of the ASX listed public company MDS Financial Group Limited.

Sean Rothsey, Merkin Group Chairman was unanimously reelected as Chairman of the public listed Company MDS Financial Group Ltd at the Company’s Annual General Meeting held in Melbourne this morning.

After successfully leading the complete restructure of the Company, the merge of the Merkin Group’s joint venture Trader Dealer Online with the Company in October and the resolution of Shareholder and Board issues the unanimous support of Sean, and in the statutory election by Shareholders of his appointed directors Damian Isbister and Richard Symon, is a clear indication of overwhelming support for his plans for the Company moving forward.

Sale of Trader Dealer Online to MDS completed

The ASX listed public company MDS Financial Group Limited today announced the acquisition of minority interest in Trader Dealer Online Pty Ltd from The Merkin Group’s subsidiary BoxRED Pty Ltd was completed pursuant to approval by shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting 14 October, 2009.

The Merkin Group’s interest in Trader Dealer Online Pty Ltd is now reflected through its substantial shareholding in the publicly listed MDS Financial Group Limited.
