MDS Financial approached on sale, merger

Financial software developer MDS Financial Group Ltd has had at least three approaches to sell or merge its business.
“The approaches are preliminary in nature and may or may not result in a formal proposal being made to MDS,” the Sydney-based company said in a statement. Â Â Â
MDS had entered non-disclosure agreements with three credible parties for proposals, which include the merger of another company into MDS and taking a stake in MDS. Â Â Â
MDS said none of the proposals were formal offers and there was no guarantee that any formal offer would be received. Â Â Â
